Musk: AI could be smarter than all humans by 2029

Commenting on a Joe Rogan podcast video on social media platform X on March 14, Marx said he expects that by the end of 2029, theAI will surpass the intellectual level of the entire human race.

Kurzweil asserted that AI will achieve human-level intelligence by 2029. He analyzed the exponential growth of several technologies, including AI, and predicted that humans are also rapidly increasing their computational power, algorithmic complexity, and data processing capabilities. As a result, it is inevitable that AI systems will match and eventually surpass human intelligence.

Responding to Kurzweil's prediction, the outspoken Musk tweeted that by next year, AI will be smarter than any human being; by 2029, it is expected that AI will not only rival human intelligence, but may even surpass the collective intelligence of all humans combined: "AI may be smarter than all humans combined."
