Developer Uses ChatGPT to 'Date' Over 5,000 Women, Successfully Finds Fiancee

Aleksandr Zhadan, a Russian AI developer and product manager for local social platform TenChat, recently shared some happy news on X on the 30th: he's getting married to his girlfriend Karina Imranovna in August. Aleksandr Zhadan's fiancée was found by Aleksandr Zhadan, who used ChatGPT to date more than 5,000 women on Tinder.

In March 2022, Aleksandr acquired the API for GPT-3, which at first was a simple script to find female users with more than two photos on their profile. After ChatGPT was first rolled out to the public (note: GPT-3.5) at the end of November 2022, he upgraded his system to 'version 2'.

The AI-constructed system uses ChatGPT in conjunction with photo recognition software to filter out users whose profiles contain explicit photos, astrological or zodiac sign information, and more. Ultimately, the system can mimic the developer's own voice when talking to matches on the Tinder platform.

Interestingly, the system sometimes promises to send flowers or chocolates to their 'dates' without the developer's own knowledge, and even sometimes arranges repeat dates.
