ChatGPT Store Goes Live, OpenAI Officially Launches GPT Store
On Wednesday, January 11th, after a month of delays, OpenAI officially launched the GPT Store, an online store where OpenAI users can share customized versions of the ChatGPT chatbot.
The GPT Store, which OpenAI says will first open to paid ChatGPT users on Wednesday, will be a collection of user-created chatbots for a variety of tasks. For example, a customized version of ChatGPT could teach a child math or come up with various cocktail recipes. It will contain chatbots that users choose to share publicly, and will eventually introduce a way for users to generate revenue, much like the money-making ideas offered by the Apple or Google app stores.
