ChatGPT Product Growth Strong, Says OpenAI Annualized Revenue Exceeds $1.6 Billion

As a result of strong growth in the ChatGPT product, OpenAI recently surpassed $1.6 billion in annualized revenue, up from $1.3 billion expected in mid-October (currently ~RMB 9,243 million), delivering 20% growth in two months.

Since launching the paid version of ChatGPT in February of this year, OpenAI has seen significant growth in its revenue rate, mainly from users subscribing to its conversational chatbot. The latest figures show that OpenAI is generating at least $130 million in revenue per month.

The timeline is a little longer, OpenAI's annual revenue last year was $28 million (currently about 199 million yuan). If OpenAI's revenue this year is $1.6 billion, that's a year-on-year increase of 5714.29%, or 57 times.
